The Good Dietitian, LLC.

Helping with diabetes and understanding what is a healthy weight, all while healing your relationship with food.

Food is Cultural, it is Social and it is Medicine.

Providing individualized medical nutrition therapy, not a "one size fits all" approach, all while bringing the fun and pleasure of food back into your life.

Jennifer Reed MA,RDN, CDCES

For over 20 years, I have been working in the fields of community and public health, and clinical nutrition. My mission is to redefine “normal eating” in America by challenging the way we view health and weight. As women, it is especially important to understand that we are much more than a number on a scale or a clothing size. We must all realize that health comes in all shapes and is not limited to the narrow view presented in main-stream media.
I believe that we need a spiritual health check-up before a physical health checkup, allowing us to get to the root of our eating habits. I challenge the stigma and shame put on people with diabetes and those who are over-weight or obese. I believe in treating the whole person by providing education and motivation with research-based, practical applications, seasoned with humor and compassion.
